What is wotagei?

Although meanings can vary, wotagei in this context refers to an artform of moving light-sticks synchronized to music. The wota (ヲタ) part of wotagei is a Japanese term that means "idol fan". The gei (芸) part is Japanese for "arts". Even though wotagei originated from idol fans, it can now also be seen at anime raves and vtuber concerts.
